Treadmill at hotel - 5 miles, averaged 7:53

I think this is my second time on a treadmill. They are workable but I couldn't be on one all the time (I guess everyone says that). I played with the speeds a bit to clear out my cold.

After 2 days off, a few weeks of base building, and some time spent with my girlfriend Megan, it's time to get down to business. 16 weeks to Carmel and 20 to Sugarloaf. Need to get my weight down. Increased mileage and back to doubles several days a week should take care of that.

Wow, only the second time on the dreaded TM...that's an accomplishment in and of itself.

Here's to a great 2013 full of PR's for you!

So you wont be needing my iPad. Hope you're feeling better. I can't run on a treadmill - I fall off them. Yeah, I know, you'll send your butler over with a treadmill for me. No doubt he'll video me and then you'll have a right old giraffe as you watch me fall off on my iPad.

Stick in there, kidda.

Joe: I can't decide if I hate them or am intrigued by them. I like being able to change the pace, but I can't help but stare at the screen. I would like to have one for recovery days once in a while so I could set it at 8:40 and stay there.

Bam:I started to drift a little bit several times. I also dropped the pace to 5:40 a few times and crossed my fingers that I wouldn't shoot off. 5:40 on a treadmill is easier than it is on the roads, but the consequences for breaking too quickly or not holding pace are a bit more dire.
