Slippery with the light snow on already covered areas. Wore my Yaxtrax, which are awful (threw them away when I got home). Couldn't really see what I was running on as the pedestrian infrastructure is terrible here. I narrowly avoided broken concrete with rebar sticking out.

Stabilizer muscles are very sore.

your description of everything sounds like you live in atlanta. rebar sticking out of broken concrete is one of this city's most common features.

It's weirdly suburban, but kind of rural in places. Very Abandoned America. In Philadelphia I would only run south for so long as the level of broken glass got pretty crazy. We lived in a beautiful neighborhood. Slate sidewalks were NASTY in the winter, but quite nice aesthetically.

I imagine people there think and 1 or 2 of snow is the end of the world. I guess if you haven't driven in the snow it could be really dangerous.
