AM(ish): Spring Vale Cemetery - 6 miles, no watch

PM: North side - 4.5 miles, no watch

I have perfected the side dish known as "The Jason." It will be tricky when I have a restaurant because everything is named after me. Steamed broccoli with hummus and a generous smattering of kimchi (vinagar-free because the cheap stuff just doesn't taste half as good) to which I added steamed red kale from the farmers' market.

Amish?

:-) I started at 11:30 or so, so it wasn't a true AM run. Like "We will depart at noon-ish."

I was checking up you the other day. Looks like things have settled down, eh?

Ah - my poor attempt at a joke. You ran without a watch - so it was Amish...heh.

Seems like I may be on the mend. Confounded weight is probably prolonging the injury - May be a faster recovery if I was lighter. :).

I figured it was. That is what the smiley face was for. The explanation was just in case it wasn't :-) I did see an Amish looking guy actually. I think he's German Baptist. Building a winter farm stand. Too bad they didn't do it sooner. Not sure how well it will do on that end of town; it's not the finest part.

Ah, yes. Confounded weight. I know it well. I'm thinking of throwing out weight goals and just trying to get to where I usually am. Getting below high school weight is pretty difficult for me.

sounds delicious. hummus goes with everything.

my restaurant has at least six items called "the james" -- some combination of food + a fried egg + marmite.

DT Kirby's, of crazy grilled cheese cheese burger fame, has a fried egg burger. Never had it but it's a good idea. Had to look up marmite.
