PM: Treadmill - 7 miles.

Downloaded some Radio Lab podcasts. I think the combination of the treadmill and the podcasts (as opposed to music) will work. I'm too out of shape to run in the heat and humidity and I don't really feel comfortable taking my shirt off currently. My hair hasn't been this dark during this time of the year in years.

How do you enjoy Radio Lab podcasts?

I'm very much on a podcast kick right now, in the car and on my rare solo run. I've got a good variety.

It's funny, Jon, while I was running I was trying to think of the podcast people on the blog based on memory of entries and I was pretty sure you were and I know Jake is at certain times.

I like Radio Lab, but I haven't had much exposure. I listened to the one on Kenyan and Ethiopian runners, which I found fascinating.

My wife and I listened to season 1 of Serial driving to Maine (about 8+ hours depending on traffic) a while back and it made the drive more tolerable. With music, as it is on the treadmill, I find myself changing it all the time. I need something that just kind of runs.

I've got a big variety- some ultrarunning stuff (ultrarunnerpodcast), some libertarian stuff (Tom Woods show). I listened to Serial seasons one and two, those were nice. Malcolm Gladwell has a new series called Revisionist History that seems good, and a friend also turned me on to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History. I'm 16 hours into the 24 hours of his WWI stuff and loving it.

Check out KUER''s Radio West podcasts. Doug Fabrizio is just about the most insightful interviewers out there and he has great guests.
