I'd love to get my marathon time into the 2:3X range or under. Do some gravel races and cyclocross races to keep things interesting.

Munger Park loop in reverse - 5.5 miles, averaged 8:35
Pretty slow and hard to start. Around 8:45-8:50 then 3 strides in the last half mile around 4:50-5:15 to try to get the muscles firing. Race in the morning.
Sounds like my Monday run this week -- good to get it out of your system though!
Good luck on the 10k - I hope you enjoy it more than I do....man I hate that distance.
You and Paul! I'm sure there are others. I used to hate 5ks, but now I really enjoy them. I just picked up my packet...it has a gel. Guess I'll save that for something else.
