Went to a post-meeting happy hour even though it wasn't my meeting. I paid dearly for the even the lightish sampling of some appetizers on this run. Atomic indigestion. Could have been the beer too, but I think a jalapeno on the nachos more likely.

The bike shop is loaning me a demo model for the ride tomorrow and my new rig should be in next week. It's going to be incredible.

Good job Running, your kicking us to the curb on the mileage board. Keep up the great training! Hey I like your choice of running shorts! 🇺🇸

Thanks! Just getting back into heavier training after a few years of still fairly consistent running but no real training to speak of.

What model bike?

It's a Specialized Diverge, a few pegs up from my current one. They gave me the full value of my used/broken one and a good deal, so I upgraded. This will save me from having to update the wheel set, which I planned to do in a year or so anyway. I imagine it is a bit lighter than my previous one, which, coupled with smoother treads will make it faster on the roads (not that I really do any road only riding, but I might here and there) and should be a bit faster for when I try cyclocross. The geometry is not optimal for that, but I am just dabbling around currently.
