It's doing okay. My wedding ring is getting loose :-) I'll probably plateau at 170 as I usually do and gain 4-5 lbs back before the marathon. Always happens. I try.

166-167 would be nice. Just not interested in eating really really light to get there. I've already cut out a whole load of alcohol consumption. Thought I would start to disappear. No such luck.

The wedding ring indicator.. Always a good one. I dropped 2 sizes when I started running. Your weight pretty much mimics mine (including the goal and reasoning behind not being there). I'm at the +4 right now. It's always tough right before a marathon because the miles come down and the food doesn't so much.

Nice work on the alcohol consumption. Lots of empty calories. I'm sure cutting down on that helps with recovery, too.

Just get a pure alcohol IV drip - all of the fun effects, but none of the calories from beer!
