Nothing really running related, other than I have 4 weeks to the Boston buildup, so I guess getting to ~70 miles for Jan 1 is a stretch. My quest for the Ladies OT is in jeopardy, but we there's time to get relativiely fit.

But, hey, watch these young folks absolutely kill Tool's "46 and 2," which is what I really wanted to share. Like running, music is something I wish I picked up at a young age. Well, I never really picked up music but I wish I had.

I agree with the music thing. (I couldn't get the video to work - I'll have to try it tomorrow on youtube). I wish I'd have picked music up, too.

Those are some talented kids! Thanks for posting that.

I was thinking about your goal of going under the W-OTQ time yesterday and I realized that my ultimate long term running goal is to beat Paula Radcliffe's WR. I saw a picture of Bam on Facebook recently, so I know I have little chance of beating his weight... so I'll stick to trying to take down Paula :-)

Don't be shy, Jake: tell them the whole story, you know, how you printed it off, framed it, and replaced Andrea's picture with mine:)

... but had to cover up that silly nike swoosh with a magic marker.

Is this the first we've heard from Bam in 6 months?

From Jason D on Wed, Nov 27, 2013 at 19:51:12 from 76.179.128.159

Thought it was good nonrunning post for the share, Tom.

Jake: a very fine goal. I was just talking about her record and how it just doesn't make sense. No one has even been close have they? Sub-2:20 makes news.

Bamster: had a good LOL on that one. 126 would be underweight for me so, the goal is to get back to Bam + 40 or less. I was 165-167 last winter. I'm doing a terrible job right now but I'll be back.

Tom: he makes specially paid appearances once in a while. You own him 200 pesos or whatever his currency is :)

And happy thanksgiving to you all. Be safe, be merry, and run hard if you are running.

Nothing like the holiday season to help everyone shed a few pounds.

From Jake K on Fri, Nov 29, 2013 at 12:11:15 from 72.201.179.106

Even her second best marathon is 2 minutes slower and no one ever comes close to that. Like you said, sub 2:20 makes news, and rarely happens.
