Weather was a little less comfortable than it has been, but still not bad. 80 degrees. 68 dew point, 66% humidity. Warmed up 2.3 miles with some strides. Felt decent throughout. Workout was intended to be less taxing than previous weeks but still be a workout. Paces were from 6:10-5:25. I’m about 6 lbs lighter than when I last did this workout in April. Cooled down 2.3.

Went to physical therapy in the early afternoon. Last session on Friday.

PM: 20.6-mile easy ride at Paint Creek. HR 124.

Getting a sense of what retirement feels like because I doubt I'll ever be able to experience it

I'm looking to try to pick up an online class, but I need to apply for the position and I doubt they would give me anything for summer given that I am not already hired. I thought about working part-time retail, but it is just not enough money to take away from the flexibility of ease of travel.

Mostly reading, which I have been able to enjoy for the first time since early in my PhD program (or before). I am also doing some research on first-time home buying. Phew. It's a maddening process, but we are taking small steps to hopefully move next summer. Fingers crossed!
