AM: 4 miles.

Wanted to sleep in but still get a few miles. Realized I didn't have any bus tokens, so I combined my errand and my morning run, something I somehow rarely think to do. It was wet and humid for November 5.

PM: 11 miles.

Felt good. Light, fast, and free (And prone to cliches apparently). Maybe not exactly light. at least 4-5 pounds over racing weight. Too much stress eating. Calorie counting and diary-ing is not enough to tame the monster who lives in my right hamstring and whispers devilishly to me, "eat a few more fistfulls of cheerios and a few granola bars; you'll feel better about life."

+ Rolling, stretching, and core (very late)

You could be doing a lot worse than dry cheerios and granola bars.

Who said the Cheerios are dry :-) ?

I suspect the ciders I have been ingesting aren't helping. Jack's. 5.5% and they are 100 calories (one or five is never enough). Tastes great too.

Cider always helps!!!

I'm a big cider fan. Utah has good local beers but no one has gotten into the cider game yet. There's only one local variety and its sugar water. I like the dry, crisp varieties... which can be harder to find here... the store only stocks a few types. My favorite part of going to California these days is popping into Whole Foods and having 20 local ciders to choose from!

I'll have to see if my sister can find some Jack's in Maryland and bring it up to Connecticut for Thanksgiving.

angry orchard is 210 calories/bottle, so your beverage choice could be worse. :)

jake -- i'm smuggling some good ATL cider into utah next weekend.

Anything but the Paula Dean brand!!! I can't go from XS to XL with a wedding coming up.

The Jack's is dry. Get the green can. I'm not a calorie nut but I didn't grab the Orchard because it was so high. I do like it thought. Except the cinnamon.
