Heritage Trail to Davis Ferry out and back - 11 miles, averaged 8:08

Managed to fit in one more good fall before officially turning 28 years old. Thankfully I was fully geared up. The trail is finally frozen and quite hard and uneven with frozen footprints. A pretty good "ahumph," a few brief stars and moments of embarrassment, and I was on my way again. Smacked my knee, but everything feels like it still connected.

28! Jakers, yer an old fella all right. Happy birthday, Jason. Big birthday bash back at the mansion?

Hopefully, only your pride is hurt from the fall. Watch it out there - as you get older, you tend to fall more.

Glad to hear you weren't too hurt - Bam is right, us older guys tend to fall more and don't always get up as quickly as you youngsters!

Bam: 12 more years until I am a master. I can definitely wait, but when I am, I plan to kick the tar out of some young folks. As for celebrations, nothing too exciting. Went out with a friend for dinner (my girlfriend and other friends have moved away for jobs and such), so I will probably stir up some trouble on the blog for a few, find something on Netflix, make sure Oliver doesn't knocked my/your iPad on the floor, and get to bed earlish.

Bret: I felt like my 28 year old self got up much slower today in the cold than my 27 year old self the other week when it was warm (more potential for an audience the other week, nothing but critters and birds today). I thought I might just lay there a while and take a nap, but it was pretty cold.
