Lunch: Treadmill - 7.25 miles

Megan, Chas, and I went to the Y. Didn't feel like running but I did. It felt good. Did some captain's chair stuff and some adduction work in an effort to make sure my hip is strong. It's been here and there for about 2 years or more. A fairly serious imbalance on the right side. It's time to get proactive so it doesn't cause a hernia, which would suck given that we don't have insurance until August 15. Back to southeastern Michigan tomorrow to look for apartments.

Megan took a job at Oakland University. I think I'm going to be a goat farmer. Rochester is fairly suburban with a nice, small downtown. Not sure what else is there other than Hansons Running.

Sounds like a new chapter coming up. And it looks far enough away from Detroit to 1) not be depressing, and 2) not have your goats stolen. Tread lightly until August and good luck with the transition.

People from Michigan are ok in my book; my 92-year-old grandmother is from there (the UP).

I rapped some Eminem once I reached 8 Mile. And although I won't be in the 313 I did create my own 313 gang sign (with palms facing you, put your pinkies over one another for the 1 and put down your ring fingers to form the 3s on either side).
