THAT, is slow. I'm now shooting for this as my next RRGP. (Recovery Run Goal Pace)

Big bottle of wine last night and being fat and out of shape running in a hot gym. I'll take it though. Beats not running. But I think I can see how people who run a few days a week can run fast. One of my running buddies runs 6:15 pace but he runs 3-4 times a week. He's definitely fit, but if he ran 7 days or even 5, that pace wouldn't be doable. But there's nothing wrong with 8 minute pace. Go with the effort, stay off the watch. You don't need split times, and you should never positive split an easy run. If your first mile is your fastest you didn't run slow enough. There's my completely unsolicited and barely founded advice for the night :-)
