Night: 4 miles in 40' on the treadmill at 11:20. HR 139.

Left campus tired and took a nap. Didn't get too ambitious and thought I'd run after dinner (which I never end up doing). Fell into a deep funk and layer around between the chair and bed. Worked up some ambition and went to our gym.

About 36' in my hip went from sore to slightly painful and unbalanced. Had to stop. It's been many years since I've had to stop a run for pain. I'm hoping it's just the treadmill but I know there is an underlying issue (recurring for about 4 years). I'll work it out.

Sorry about the funk and hip issue. Long, cold winters don't help with mental struggles. I know the hip has been there for a while, any rehab stuff help?

I think before I was doing some captain chair stuff at the gym, which hurt, but seemed to strengthen it. I should probably go to a PT to get it sorted. I know the muscle, but I am not sure of its status (pull, tear, tendonitis, etc). I know it needs to be released. It's a similar issue that Bob on the blog had (he gave me some exercises I did for a while and neglected). It's the same issue Paul Petersen has I believe.
