Thanks for your comments. i have been watching your blog lately and I think that you are ready for a couple or huge PRs in the next month. I think that you can run a sub 2:40 next month.

Thanks, Ryan. I think based on workouts I can run as fast as 2:43 unless I discover some race day magic and run sub-75 in the half this weekend. My best guesses are low-1:16 in the half and sub-2:45 in the marathon if everything goes well. I'd be open to being surprised (in a good way) though!

you'll likely be running right near my teammates, morgan and bridget. i'll be hanging out about mile or so behind you. :)

Do you know their bib numbers? I don't want them to beat me :-)

I know you can handle the cold but it is supposed to be in the upper 30s, which is perfect for me, but they might want to prepare accordingly. The air can have an oddly chilly and damp feeling in fall and winter.

good to know. high 30s is definitely glove weather, at least for me.

i don't know their bibs yet but they are both going for the OTQ.

I'd love to try to hang with them, but I don't think I can handle that pace out of the gate.
